ABOUT MECeramics Student/ArtistI'm a sophomore at Trinity Episcopal School, and this is my second year of taking any kind of ceramics class. My first year of ceramics was difficult. The first semester we were taught to throw the many forms of ceramics. This year we were taught more difficult forms like vases, handles, combinational pieces, and other forms.

PORTFOLIONatural TouchMy most recent work is from my spring art show 2017.
I was inspired by the other various process of firing like pit, raku, and sagar. They are all interesting to me because they fire pieces in a unique way rather than the regular firing in the kiln. I choose pit firing because to me it is more natural look than raku or sagar. For further images of my pit fired pieces, check out my gallery page. |
